Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Sports Edition Showcased at Indonesia Motor Show

New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga made its market debut in India earlier this year, Japanese automakers, Suzuki have now begun selling this seven seater in Indonesia. In Indonesian market, Ertiga will be available in a choice of three trim levels working around a K14B 1.4 liter engine offering 95 PS at 6000 RPM and torque of 130 Nm at 4000 RPM mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The three concepts are called Luxury, Sport and Crossover with each of these versions showcasing a different grille design and front and rear bumpers. Wheel designs too are varied for the Crossover and Sport while daytime running lights are also different. The name Ertiga comes from an adaptation of ’R-Tiga’ where Tiga means three in Indonesian and R stands for the number of rows.

Available in three different variants Ertiga GA, GL and GX, from manufacturers Maruti Suzuki India, the vehicle is imported into Indonesia in a CKD (Completely Knock Down) form. It offers powerful acceleration, high level of fuel efficiency and enormous power. It is looked upon as a family vehicle in Indonesia primarily due to its roomy interiors that permits easy access and exit.
