Revealed at the 2016 Indonesian International Motor Show, the new Honda Brio Facelift comes equipped with changes as similar to what was seen on its bigger Amaze sibling. Dual slat black grille housing the brand logo, chrome bar at the rear, faux intakes housing the fog lamps and enlarged radiator inlet are some of the visual makeovers.

On the inside, the new Brio will have the dashboard derived from the recently launched BR-V SUV. It will be adorned with combination of matte plastic and piano black trim and faux silver accents adding premium-ness to the small hatchback. The other expected features are new HVAC controls with digital display, single pod instrument cluster, 2-DIN JVC unit, etc.

New Honda Brio Specifications

The powertrain options will remain the same as what currently is. The 1.2 litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol motor produces 90 PS of maximum power and 110 Nm of peak torque. The five-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard and probably the Earth Dreams Technology CVT could be made available as well. Expected to be launched sometime this year, it will go up against rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat and Tata Tiago.
