- India’s President, Vice President and Prime Minister have greeted the nation on the eve of Holi Festival. In a message, President Pranab Mukherjee said that Holi provides an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship and brotherhood among people of all faiths. Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari said that the festival reinforces the message of unity in diversity and equality of all human beings. In his message, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh said that the festival heralding the onset of spring celebrates the different hues of the country
